I’ve been at Merck 14 years and work out of the Carpenter shop in building 1. We are a site shop so we cover the entire site, so I’ve pretty much worked in almost every building at West Point.

I love being in the union because our rights as workers are protected and we also have the right to vote and accept or decline the CBA that we will work under. I also enjoy the brother and sisterhood that we form as a local union. As a shop steward for many years I also like to help out fellow brothers and sisters as needed.

I’m very passionate about my family outside of work. I have a lovely wife and 3 daughters that I will do anything for. My hobbies would include sports. I am very passionate about my Pittsburgh Steelers. I also enjoy hockey and baseball which are also located in Pittsburgh.Other than sports I enjoy hunting and being outdoors, particularly in the woods.In conclusion I would like to add that our union leadership in local 10-00086 is STRONGER than ever!
