USW 10-00086,
The Power of Solidarity
Solidarity Is defined as unity or agreement of feeling or action, especially among individuals with a common interest. As USW 10-00086 siblings, our common interest lies in the right to bargain collectively for the best contract possible to make working and eventually retiring from Merck the best experience possible. The best way to achieve this goal is by standing united and strong together. Throughout history, right up to today, we have the evidence that a group united can achieve great things for workers. The benefit of standing together means that we are not alone, we know that we can rely on our officers, our shop stewards, committee leaders, and each other to support and represent how we feel when it comes to our lives in the workplace. Over the last few years we have seen the power of solidarity manifest itself in outstanding ways for the UAW, SAG-AFTRA, Starbucks workers, Univ. of Pittsburg and so many more places. Local 10-00086 will be next. Stand together! Union Strong!
